Before you start: A four-digit PIN.
Do this
- Open Account → Profile & Parental Controls
- Choose the child’s profile and set the maturity rating
- Now open YOUR profile and set a profile lock PIN on it
- Switch profiles on each signed-in device so the change takes effect

What this does not do
- Devices already signed in keep the old settings until the profile is switched or they sign in again.
What people get wrong
- Restricting the kids’ profile and stopping there. A child simply taps your profile instead. Lock the adult one.
